Santiago Cruz

Santiago Cruz is an open-minded, hard worker, and fast learning individual willing to take any challenge. Born in Bogota, Colombia, Santiago has a big passion for music, entertainment, sports, family and friends. He was involved in the music industry back when he was in high school, and had the opportunity to record in one of the most prestigious studios in Colombia. His band had a local success, but it was dissolved because the members took different career paths. However Santiago’s career path didn’t changed; he started studying sound engineering and music production, earning a degree in this field.

After finishing his studies in sound engineering and music production, Santiago started working for one of the biggest television networks in Colombia: Caracol Television, in the post-production department as a sound designer, for the different shows that the network produced. This experience clearly showed Santiago the career and professional path he wanted to take. After working for two years in the television network, he established a production company called Glass Cross Productions with some associates. The production company focused on creating audiovisual media for small companies, organizations and businesses. In this process, Santiago developed responsibility, management, marketing, administration and business skills.

All of his experiences in the entertainment industry influenced him to pursue his second degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University. Currently, Santiago is focusing on his studies and is expected to graduate on August 5, 2016. He expects to work on the sports, music, technology or film industry. Santiago is very positive about his experience at Full Sail, and is open to any opportunity where he can develop new skills and help a brand or company reach its goals.
